As a novel type of green energy storage device, supercapacitors exhibit several orders magnitude higher capacities than the traditional dielectric capacitors and significantly power density secondary batteries. Supercapacitors have been widely applied in fields. Electrode materials, as pivotal components supercapacitors, play an important role electrochemical performance. Molybdenum-based materials attracted widespread attention for their high theoretical capacitance, abundant resources, facile synthesis tactics. Therefore, it is necessary to systematically summarize application Mo-based electrode high-performance unveil developmental direction trends. In this paper, we provide review binary ternary nanocomposites MOFs derivative materials. addition, further point out key issues on development supercapacitors.
